This brand new 2023 G81 BMW M3 Touring arrived straight from BMW Lincoln via our enclosed transportation service at Reep Yorkshire for some well deserved New Car Paint Protection Film.
The vehicle hadn’t yet seen the UK roads, as it was handed over by the client at the dealership, we then met the client with our enclosed trailer and returned it to our state of the art detailing and protection studio here in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.
The choice from our menu that our private client chose was to transform the gloss black paint finish from gloss to satin, to achieve the now discontinued Frozen Black BMW paint finish. The benefits here that if you were to opt for the frozen paint finish from BMW (Satin), you would still require Full PPF to the entire vehicle anyway as that paint finish is extremely costly to repair and requires a huge blend to match the colour.
Our client has killed two birds with one stone 100%, by purchasing the vehicle in a metallic black colour and adding the M Performance Gloss Carbon Fibre Kit. With our Satin Paint Protection Film Kit, the colour is protected from stone chips, scratches as well as being transformed to a stunning Satin finish.
We also protected all Gloss Piano Blacks with Gloss PPF, as well as applying Gloss PPF to all Gloss Carbon Fibre areas.
You will also notice the client wished for a unique finish to the roof to add even more contrast, by opting for Gloss PPF to the roof instead of Satin, almost creating a panoramic roof finish which blends nicely with the windows and gloss blacks surrounding them.
Our team at Reep Yorkshire thoroughly enjoyed working on this absolute monster, which also houses Carbon Ceramic Brakes made obvious by the Gold callipers. The wheels were also refurbished a satin gold colour to match the callipers and also match the OEM finish which the ‘CS’ BMW cars have.
