March of 2017 saw this brand new Audi S3 brought into the Reep Yorkshire studio. The car was in our purpose built, luxury Detailing studio to receive a full New Car protection which will help to keep this paintwork as vibrant as it looks now. The owner requested it was protected using Gtechniq’s Ceramic Sealant, which comes with a 7 year guarantee! This means 7 years of Paint Protection, and 7 years of the paintwork looking like it is new (provided it is cared for correctly).
As it was delivered to us with the majority of its protective film still on the car, our job was far easier! This is because the more untouched a car is, the quicker we can get started on protecting it. As with all cars brought to our studio, the first job was to fully clean and inspect the paintwork.
No matter how old or new your car may be, the car will still need to receive a machine polish. Paintwork is like skin, it has pores and breathes. By machining the car’s paint surface, we are opening up the pores on the paint surface to allow the ceramic sealant to bond on a molecular level. Once applied, the pores of the paintwork will close up once again (aided by our climate controlled studio) and the ceramic will be firmly in place.
The full package that this S3 received includes:

- All exterior glass protected
- Complete wheel protection (inside the barrel and on the faces)
- Interior protection, which includes a range of products being applied onto:
- Carpets
- Seats
- Dashboard
- Door cards
Including the finishing touches:
- Tyres dressed
- Interior glass cleaned
- Wheel arches cleaned
