Straight from Italy to Ferrari Leeds, this first to arrive in the UK 296 GTS was transported immediately to our Car Storage partners Lusso Concierge to hibernate away from the typical UK weather.
Lusso looked after the car whilst the owner waited for a slot at our Reep Yorkshire studio as the vehicle arrived a little sooner than expected which is always nice! The owner took our advice to resist driving the vehicle with no protection on. We always say you have waited ages for the car, what’s another few days going to change! 3 miles of driving it down the road could lead to a nasty stone chips which would ruin the finished result once protected.
When the slot became available, the car was transported in a discreet enclosed trailer from Lusso Concierge Car Storage in Leeds over to our state of the art detailing studio here in Knaresborough.
The vehicle was cleaned, de-contaminated and machine polished to refine the paintwork and remove all previous machine polishing work by the way of excess compound in edges and ‘buffering trails’ due to the special paintwork receiving hand finishing touches rather than a robot. After our refinishing was done, the full vehicle was alcohol wiped down prior to the Paint Protection Film application.
This vehicle received ProFilm Ultra Clear Pro which comes with a 12 year manufacturers warranty as well as a 12 year Reep fitment warranty.
We also installed a vinyl front numberplate for our client as well as treating the PPF, wheels, interior and all surfaces with Gtechniq specific products.
