This stunning Lamborghini Urus SUV arrived at our state of the art detailing and protection studio in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire for our Full Paint Protection Film package.
The vehicle was sold by our friends at Alexanders Prestige in Boroughbridge up the road, and it required Full Paint Protection Film right before Christmas! We were well up for the challenge.
The vehicle arrived via our enclosed transportation service and was instantly moved to our wash bay to receive our 22 stage de contamination process.
Once the vehicle was clean, it was then moved inside our insulated and heated protection studio to be dried and then left to air dry. During this time an in depth inspection process was carried out and sent to the customer.
Whilst the vehicle was being prepared by our Detailing Technicians, our PPF plotter team were printing and editing pre-cut patterns for the PPF in our plotter room upstairs.
Once the vehicle was fully prepared and alcohol wiped as well as being re washed to remove all dust particles, the first panel could receive pre-cut Paint Protection Film. This client had opted for our Profilm Ultra Clear Pro Gloss Film, which has a 12 year warranty and is fully hydrophobic, ensuring super easy maintenance in the future. We also include a 12 month unique Reep fitment warranty.
Once the entire vehicles lacquered surfaces were protected from head to toe – 360 degrees – it was time to enter our quality control room. Our team of 7 different technicians individually – at different times each – check each panel by panel. Ensuring all edges and the entire of each panel is 100%. If anything isn’t quite right, tape is added to the area of concern and the installer of said vehicle checks and liaises with our PPF manager. Usually its something of nothing and needs a little attention, but in worst cases if the area cannot be improved the panel is replaced immediately ensuring no stone left unturned.
This is why we allow 24 hours after completion of every vehicle we work on, to allow for thorough inspection processes to stay ahead of our competition, providing our clients with the best service nationwide whether at our Reep Yorkshire site or at our other sites in Leicester and Surrey.
