Every wondered if you can polish a wrap? This Land Rover Discovery has previously been wrapped, and the owner could see swirl marks and slight scratches in the surface of the wrap, therefore wanted it correcting as soon as possible!
Being the off-roader it is, it did need quite a thorough wash before the team went anywhere near it! A VERY deep and safe wash clean was carried out by the team outside our studio in Knaresborough. The safe wash carried out meant that no further damage was done to the wrap, but also made sure we didn’t tear the film in anyway!
Flat or metallic, wrap or paintwork swirl marks and light scratches can still ruin the look of your car. They can reduce its value, and overall appeal. Would you buy a car that is heavily marked?
As you will see in the gallery, the whole of the exterior of this classic off-roader has been wrapped to fully change the colour of the car. Back to the car…
Once our team had thoroughly cleaned the Discovery, they went to work on removing the swirl marks and light scratched using our state of the art machine polishing equipment. The whole vehicle was then protected using a range of Swisswax and Gtechniq products. This included the paint work, glass, tyres and alloys.
